  "heading": "Provisions coming into force on 26th October 2000",
  "text": "The following provisions shall come into force on 26th October 2000—\n(a) sections 14 to 16, 21, 24, 26, 29 and 102;\n(b) sections 11, 13, 22, 25, 27, 28, 31, 33 and 37, except in so far as already in force;\n(c) paragraphs 1 to 5 of Schedule 1 and section 23 to the extent that it relates to those paragraphs;\n(d) section 39, except subsection (3), and except in so far as already in force;\n(e) section 46 and Schedule 3;\n(f) paragraphs 1 to 7, 16 to 23, 29 and 33 of Schedule 5;\n(g) in Schedule 6, the repeal of the following provisions in the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970—\n(i) section 2(2);\n(ii) in section 3(1), the words “(hereafter in this Act referred to as “social services functions”)”; and\n(iii) section 6(5); and\n(h) section 107 to the extent that it relates to the paragraphs and repeals referred to in paragraphs (f) and (g) of this article.",
