  "text": "The following provisions of the Local Government Act 2000 shall come into force on 27th July 2002—\n(a) section 90;\n(b) in Schedule 6 the repeal of—\n(i) in section 80(1)(e) of the Local Government Act 1972, the words “or under the Audit Commission Act 1998”;\n(ii) in section 16(1)(a) of the Audit Commission Act 1998, the words “or 18”;\n(iii) section 17(1)(b) of that Act and “and” preceding it;\n(iv) in section 17(2) of that Act, the words “subject to subsection (3)” and paragraphs (a) and (b) and the word “and” following paragraph (b);\n(v) section 17(3), (5)(b), (7) and (8) of that Act; and\n(vi) section 18 of that Act.",
