# The Local Government Area Changes Regulations 1976, Regulation 51: Rate support grants


In any calculations of the rate support grants for the year beginning on the appointed day the changes of areas made by the order shall be deemed to have been made at the date by reference to which, for the purposes of paragraph 9(1) of Part III of Schedule 2 to the Local Government Act 1974 the effective rateable values therein referred to are to be generally determined for that year.
