| 1 | The percentage of new homes built on previously developed land. |
| 2 | Planning cost per head of population. |
| 3 | The number of advertised departures from the statutory plan approved by the authority as a percentage of total permissions granted. |
| 4 | The percentage of applications determined within 8 weeks. |
| 5 | The average time taken to determine all applications. |
| 6 | Score against a checklist of planning best practice as set out in the document published in December 2000 by the DETR entitled “Best Value Performance Indicators 2001/2002f1.” |
| 7 | The percentage of standard searches carried out in 10 working days or less. |
