  "text": "Indicator Number\nDescription of indicator\n1\nThe percentage of the total tonnage of household waste arisings which have been sent for recycling.\n2\nThe percentage of the total tonnage of household waste arisings which have been sent for composting.\n3\nThe percentage of the total tonnage of household waste arisings which have been used to recover heat, power and other energy sources.\n4\nThe percentage of the total tonnage of household waste arisings which have been land-filled.\n5\nThe number of kilograms of household waste collected per head.\n6\nThe cost per square kilometre of keeping relevant land and relevant highways for which the authority is responsible, clear of litter and refuse; the terms “relevant land”, “highway” and “responsible” shall have the same meaning as in section 86 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.\n7\nThe cost of waste collection per household.\n8\nThe cost of waste disposal per tonne of municipal waste.\n9\nThe number of collections missed per 100,000 collections of household waste.\n10\nThe percentage of population resident in the authority’s area which are served by a kerbside collection of recyclables or within 1 kilometre radius of a recycling centre.",
