6% or less
At least 18% of household waste collected, is sent by the authority for recycling or composting.
More than 6% but less than 13%
The percentage of household waste sent by the authority for recycling or composting (calculated in accordance with indicators 1 and 2 in Schedule 7) of at least treble that achieved for the financial year that commenced on the 1st April 1998.
13% or more but less than 19%
At least 36% of household waste collected, is sent by the authority for recycling or composting (calculated in accordance with indicators 1 and 2 in Schedule 7).
19% or more
At least 40% of household waste collected, is sent by the authority for recycling or composting (calculated in accordance with indicators 1 and 2 in Schedule 7).
