# The Local Government Changes for England (Miscellaneous Provision) Order 1996, Article 1: Citation and commencement


This Order may be cited as the Local Government Changes for England (Miscellaneous Provision) Order 1996 and shall come into force for the purposes of article 4 on 20th March and for all other purposes on 1st April 1996.
