  "text": "(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 28th April 2000, but regulation 4(b) shall have effect from 1st April 1998 and regulations 3 and 4(a) shall have effect from 13th January 2000.\n(2) In regulation 5, expressions which are also used in the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 1997 have the same meaning as they have in those Regulations.",
