# The Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2000, Regulation 5: Savings


The amendment made by regulation 3 shall not affect the validity of any indemnity or bond in an approved form with an authorised insurer, as defined by the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 1997 before their amendment by these Regulations, which was made before the date on which these Regulations come into force.
