# The Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2008, Regulation 3: Amendment of the Benefits Regulations

Extent: E+W+S

In regulation 1 (citation, commencement, interpretation and application) —
(a) after the definition of “the 1997 Regulations”, insert—
““the Administration Regulations” means the Local Government Pension Scheme (Administration) Regulations 2008;”; and
(b) after the definition of “the 1997 Scheme”, insert—
““administering authority” has the meaning ascribed by Schedule 1 to the Administration Regulations;”.
