# The Local Involvement Networks Regulations 2008, Regulation 17: Local involvement networks: referrals of social care matters

For the purposes of section 226(2)(a) of the Act, the time by which the duty under that section is to be performed is 20 working days beginning with the date on which the referral to which the duty applies was made.
