  "text": "(1) The existing areas of—\n(a) Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale,\n(b) Chorley,\n(c) East Lancashire,\n(d) Fylde Coast,\n(e) Lancaster,\n(f) Ormskirk, and\n(g) Preston and South Ribble,\nare combined to become a new area named Lancashire.\n(2) The existing areas of—\n(a) Bolton,\n(b) Bury and Rochdale,\n(c) Manchester and Salford,\n(d) Oldham,\n(e) Stockport,\n(f) Tameside,\n(g) Trafford, and\n(h) Wigan and Leigh,\nare combined to become a new area named Greater Manchester.\n(3) The existing areas of—\n(a) Sussex (Northern), and\n(b) Sussex (Western),\nare combined to become a new area named West Sussex.",
