Article 3 Interpretation

(1)

The existing areas of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Drayton are combined to become a new area named Shrewsbury and North Shropshire.

(2)

The existing areas of Telford and Bridgnorth and South Shropshire are combined to become a new area named Telford and South Shropshire.

(3)

Accordingly the Schedule to the Local Justice Areas Order 2005^f1 is amended as follows—

(a)

delete “Shrewsbury”, “Oswestry” and “Drayton”,

(b)

after “Sheffield” insert “Shrewsbury and North Shropshire”,

(c)

delete “Telford and Bridgnorth” and “South Shropshire”, and

(d)

after “Teesside” insert “Telford and South Shropshire”.
