# The Local Land Charges Rules 1977, Article 4: Application for registration


(1) Without prejudice to rule 10(1) below, an application to a registering authority for registration of a charge shall be in writing and shall contain a description of the charge and any other particulars necessary to enable the registering authority to register the charge in accordance with these Rules.
(2) An application for registration may be sent by post to, or left at the office of, the registering authority.
