The Local Government Act 1972 is amended as follows.

In section 236(1) (procedure etc for byelaws) for “or a metropolitan county passenger transport authority” substitute “ or an Integrated Transport Authority for an integrated transport area in England ”.

(3)

In section 236B(1) (power to revoke byelaws) for paragraph (d) substitute—

“(d)

an Integrated Transport Authority for an integrated transport area in England.”.

(4)

In section 238 (evidence of byelaws) for “or a metropolitan county passenger transport authority” substitute “ or an Integrated Transport Authority for an integrated transport area in England ”.
