# Local Transport Act 2008, Section 43: Guidance about schemes


After section 134 of the TA 2000 insert—
“Guidance about schemes
134A (1) The appropriate national authority may issue guidance concerning the performance by local transport authorities of their functions under this Part in relation to quality contracts schemes.
(2) Those authorities must have regard to any such guidance.”.
