# The Localism Act 2011 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2014, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
A draft of this instrument was laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament in accordance with section 235(6) of the Localism Act 2011.
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 235(2), (3) and 236(1) of that Act.
