# Locomotives Act 1898 (repealed 5.11.1993), Section 8: Locomotives not to meet on a bridge.

Extent: E+W

No locomotive shall be taken across any bridge so as to meet or pass any other locomotive upon such bridge, and any person who acts in contravention of this section shall be subject, on summary conviction, to a penalty not exceeding level 1 on the standard scalefor every offence.
