Nothing in articles 5 to 8 applies—

(a)

to any person who will by virtue of any agreement entered into between him and any authority before 1st April 1965 enter into the employment of that authority on that date; or

(b)

to any officer of the council of the borough of Richmond who will by virtue of any order under the Water Act 1945 enter into the employment of the Metropolitan Water Board on 1st April 1965; or

(c)

to any member of any fire brigade; or

(d)

to any person as regards any employment which, otherwise than by virtue of the abolition of authorities effected by the Act, is to be terminated on 31st March 1965.
