# The London Cab (No. 2) Order 1990, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the London Cab Order 1934 (“the 1934 Order”) primarily to provide for an extra charge of £1.20 for hirings of motor cabs arranged by telephone. In addition provisions of paragraph 35 (approved taximeters) rendered otiose by the revocation of Schedule E (fares during transitional period) by the London Cab Order 1989, (S.I. 1989/848), have been omitted.
