  "text": "(1) This article does not apply to the inner London boroughs or, except in relation to the urban district of Chigwell, to any provisions which are extended to the outer London boroughs by the Act.\n(2) Subject to any order which the Minister or the Secretary of State may make to take effect on or after 1st April 1965, any order by virtue of which any provisions of the Public Health Acts 1875 to 1932 or the Highways Act 1959 are in force immediately before 1st April 1965 throughout a borough or urban district specified in column (1) of Part I of Schedule 3, and any other order under any of those Acts so in force, shall apply to the area specified in respect of such borough or urban district in column (2).\n(3) Subject to the provision of paragraph (2), any order by virtue of which any such provisions are in force in any area specified in Part II of Schedule 3, and any other order under any of those Acts in force in such area, shall cease to have effect in relation to such area.",
