# The London Government Order 1966, Note: Explanatory note


This order makes further incidental, consequential, transitional and supplementary provision in relation to Greater London, relating to—
(a) the amendment of certain Acts and instruments;
(b) parks and open spaces;
(c) the transfer of certain lands and properties;
(d) the appointment of officers and the taking of other action by local valuation panels established as from 1st April 1967 to ensure their effective operation as from that date.
