# The London Government Order 1970, Article 12: Victoria Embankment and the Thames adjoining


The embankment southward of the gardens of the Societies of the Inner and Middle Temples, respectively, referred to in section 29 of the Thames Embankment Act 1862, the road thereon, and the river Thames adjoining, to the middle of the river, shall form part of the City.
The boundaries established by this article shall be mered by Ordnance Survey.
