# The London Government Order 1970, Note: Explanatory note


This order makes further incidental, consequential, transitional and supplementary provision in relation to Greater London, relating to—
(a) the amendment of certain Acts;
(b) the construction of references to superseded provisions;
(c) the deposit of plans and documents;
(d) the drainage of contiguous premises;
(e) the increase of compensation paid by periodical payments to, or in respect of, certain officers of the London County Council;
(f) the taking of proceedings by the Common Council in relation to delegated functions;
(g) a number of matters of local significance.
