# The Lotteries (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 2002, Article 3


The sum specified in section 11(6) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 (which is the maximum total value of the tickets or chances sold in any one society’s lottery or local lottery) shall, instead of £1,000,000, be £2,000,000.
