Article 4 Power to deviate

(1)

In constructing or maintaining any of the scheduled works, LWFL may—

(a)

deviate laterally from the lines or situations shown on the deposited plans to the extent of the limits of deviation for that work; and

(b)

deviate vertically from the levels shown on the deposited sections—

(i)

to any extent not exceeding 2 metres upwards; or

(ii)

to any extent downwards as may be found to be necessary or convenient.

(2)

In deviating from the levels of the scheduled works shown on the deposited sections under article 4(1)(b)(i), LWFL may construct the scheduled works so as to be positioned on the surface of the seabed but those works may not be constructed above the surface of the seabed.
