In this Scheme:—
(1)
all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.
(2)
(i)
“the deposited plan” means the plan numbered RSE/O/M20/4/01/24/7 marked “The M20 Motorway (Medway Bridge Section) Scheme 1990”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;
(ii)
“the motorway” means the special road provided in pursuance of the Maidstone By-Pass Special Road Scheme 1958f1;
(iii)
“the special road” means the special road mentioned in article 1 of this Scheme.
