# The M3 Motorway (Bar End—Compton Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1990, Paragraph 3: Junction with the A31 at Bar End, Winchester in Hampshire


The routes of the special roads for effecting this junction are routes to connect
(a) the northbound carriageway of the Motorway with the A31 road as proposed to be improved;
(b) the southbound carriageway of the Motorway with the A31 road as proposed to be diverted.
The centre lines of these special roads are shown on Site Plan 3 in the deposited plan where they are respectively given the reference letters A and B.
