# The M42 Junction 6 Development Consent Order 2020, Paragraph 31

Extent: E+W

If in consequence of the agreement reached in accordance with paragraph 23(1) or the powers granted under this Order the access to any apparatus is materially obstructed, the promoter must provide such alternative means of access to such apparatus as will enable National Grid to maintain or use the apparatus no less effectively than was possible before such obstruction.
