Regulation 2 Interpretation
In these Regulations—
-
“the 1982 Regulations” means the Motorways Traffic (England and Wales) Regulations 1982f1;
-
“the 2016 Regulations and Directions” means the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016f2; and
-
“carriageway”, “hard shoulder”, “motorway” and “verge” have the same meaning as in the 1982 Regulations.
