PILOTAGE

Whereas the Grampian Regional Council is a harbour authority within the meaning of the Pilotage Act 1987^f1 but is not a competent harbour authority within the meaning of that Act in respect of the harbour of Macduff, and whereas it wishes to be treated for the purposes of the Act as such an authority, now therefore the Secretary of State for Transport on the application of the Grampian Regional Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1(4) of the Pilotage Act 1987, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
