  "long_title": "These Rules amend the Magistrates’ Courts Rules (Northern Ireland) 1984 (“the principal Rules”) to:provide that service of a summons in all categories of offence prosecuted by the Public Prosecution Service (“PPS”) may be effected by post. (Rule 2(6)). Previously postal service was only available in respect of summary offences prosecuted by the PPS;make a number of minor technical amendments to reflect that prosecutions are no longer undertaken by the police in Northern Ireland (Rules 2(1), 2(2)(a), 2(5) and 2(7) to 2(11) (a)-(c)).",
