# The Magistrates’ Courts (Amendment No. 2) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2016, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


These rules may be cited as the Magistrates’ Courts (Amendment No. 2) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on the same day as section 1 of the Justice Act (Northern Ireland) 2015.
