# The Magistrates' Courts (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1996, Article 2: Interpretation

In these Rules—
“the principal Rules” means the Magistrates' Courts Rules (Northern Ireland) 1984;
“the 1969 Rules” means the Magistrates' Courts (Children and Young Persons) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1969;
“the 1995 Order” means the Children’s Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1995.
