Article 5 Receipt of certificates in evidence

In Rule 12B after the words “as a certificate in” insert the words “Form 109A, Form 109B, Form 109C, or”.

After Rule 12B insert the following new Rules—

“Proof of service of notice of registration under the Road Traffic Offenders (Northern Ireland) Order 1996

Service of notice of registration under Article 76(2) of the Road Traffic Offenders (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 may be proved in any proceedings by a certificate of service in Form 109B.

Proof of service of a requirement to identify driver of vehicle under Article 15 of the Road Traffic Offenders (Northern Ireland) Order 1996

Service of a requirement under Article 177 of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981, to give information as to the identity of the driver of a vehicle may be proved in any proceedings by a certificate of service in Form 109C.”.
