  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules.)\nThese Rules amend the Magistrates' Courts Rules (Northern Ireland) 1984 (the principal Rules) to substitute a new Rule 143 which provides for warrants in proceedings upon complaint to be sent for execution to the district commander for the police district in which the warrant is issued.\nThe amendment is required in consequence of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000.",
