Procedure

Coming into operation in accordance with Rule 1

The Magistrates’ Courts Rules Committee makes the following rules in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 13 of the Magistrates’ Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981^f1, and Articles 17(5), 21BA(9) and 39(1) of the Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1999^f2 after consultation with the Department of Justice and the agreement of the Lord Chief Justice.
