# The Magistrates' Courts Committees (Constitution) (Amendment) Regulations 2001, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Constitution) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st September 2001.
(2) In these Regulations—
(a) “the 1999 Regulations” means the Magistrates' Courts Committees (Constitution) Regulations 1999; and
(b) references to a regulation by number alone are references to a regulation so numbered in the 1999 Regulations.
