# The Magistrates' Courts Committees (Merseyside) Amalgamation (Amendment) Order 1998, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1998/1175 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

Coming into force 1st June 1998
Having consulted in accordance with section 32(5) of the Justices of the Peace Act 1997, the Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 32(3) and (8) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
