# The Magistrates' Courts (Forms) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1999, Introduction: Introductory text


MAGISTRATES' COURTS
Made 5th November 1999
Laid before Parliament 10th November 1999
Coming into force 1st December 1999
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 144 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 as extended by section 145 of that Act, after consultation with the Rule Committee appointed under the said section 144, hereby makes the following Rules:
