# The Magistrates’ Courts (Licensing) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 2016, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 21st November 2016
Coming into operation 19th December 2016
The Magistrates’ Courts Rules Committee makes and the Department of Justice, after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice, allows the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 13 of the Magistrates’ Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and paragraph 4 of Schedule 4, paragraph 2 of Schedule 5, paragraph 3 of Schedule 6, paragraph 3 of Schedule 9 and paragraph 3 of Schedule 10 to the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf.
