# The Mallaig Harbour Revision (Constitution) Order 2012, Paragraph 12: Re-appointment of Chair


(1) The Chair of the Authority shall not be eligible for re-appointment as the chair where immediately before the date in question, he or she has served as a chair for three consecutive terms.
(2) For the purpose of this paragraph “term” does not include—
(a) the remainder of a term during which the member was appointed to fill a casual vacancy under article 8 above; or
(b) any term served by the member prior to the new constitution date.
