# The Marine Licensing (Exempted Activities) (Amendment) Order 2013, Article 3: Amendment of article 3

In article 3 (interpretation)—
(a) after the definition of “exempt activity” insert—
““the Habitats Directive” means Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora;”;
(b) in the definition of “plan or project”, for “Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora” substitute “the Habitats Directive”.
