# The Marine Licensing (Exempted Activities) Order 2011, Article 28: Dismantling of ships

Extent: E+W+S+NI

(1) Article 4 applies to a deposit or removal activity carried on as part of dismantling a ship that is waste.
(2) But article 4 does not apply to any such deposit to the extent that it falls within item 10 or 21.
