# The Marine Licensing (Exempted Activities) (Wales) Order 2011, Article 19: Emergency works in response to flood or flood risk

Extent: E+W

(1) Article 4 applies to an activity carried out for the purpose of executing emergency works in response to any flood or the imminent risk of any flood.
(2) But article 4 does not apply where there has been a failure to maintain a structure before a flood or flood risk occurs.
