  "long_title": "Section 1 of the Marriage Act 1994 amended the Marriage Act 1949 to permit civil marriages to take place on premises approved for the purpose by local authorities. These Regulations set out the application procedure (regulations 3 and 4), criteria for approval (regulation 5) and requirements for registers of approved premises (regulation 10). Detailed requirements for approval and standard conditions to be attached to every grant of approval are set out in Schedules 1 and 2 respectively. Regulation 6 provides for the imposition of both the standard conditions and additional conditions.",
