# The Matrimonial Causes (Costs) Rules 1988, Article 23: Savings


Where part of any matrimonial proceedings has taken place in the High Court, whether before or after the coming into force of these Rules, nothing in these Rules or in section 45 of the County Courts Act 1984 shall authorise the costs of that part of the proceedings to be awarded or taxed on any of the county court scales.
