# The Measuring Container Bottles (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1977, Regulation 13: Enforcement

In England or Wales, proceedings for an offence under these Regulations shall not be instituted except by or on behalf of a local weights and measures authority or the chief officer of police for a police area.
