# The Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Amendment) Regulations 1988, Regulation 5


The Taximeters (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1979 are hereby amended —
(a) in regulation 2(1), by omitting the definition of “the principal Regulations” and substituting therefor the following definition:—
““the principal Regulations” means the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1988”; and
(b) in regulation 6(1), by omitting the words “Regulations 7 to 11” and substituting therefor the words “Regulations 8 to 12”.
