# The Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1988 (revoked), Paragraph 5: Extension of EEC pattern approval

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

If on extending an EEC pattern approval the Secretary of State imposes any restriction on the period of extension or any condition under Regulation 9(2) above he may amend the certificate of pattern approval and any documents annexed thereto in any manner that appears to him to be appropriate.
